Yes. The PERKESO (SOCSO) panel includes 848 of the centres we list in Malaysia. If PERKESO pays for your dialysis, confirm the panel status with PERKESO or the centre before you start treatment.
Patients with Hepatitis B or C need a centre with separate isolation machines. Of the centres we list in Malaysia, Hepatitis B isolation is available at 190 and Hepatitis C isolation at 193. Use the Hep B and Hep C filters to see them.
Peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) is offered at 75 of the centres we list in Malaysia. It is done at home after training, so ask your nephrologist whether it suits you.
Centre details come from the National Renal Registry (NRR) centre directory of the Malaysian Society of Nephrology, and PERKESO panel status from PERKESO's published lists of panel dialysis centres. It depends on who runs the centre. Government hospital units are heavily subsidised, NGO centres usually charge less than private ones, and many patients get help from PERKESO, zakat or welfare funds. Always ask the centre for its current fees.
Start with centres close to home or work whose session times fit your routine. Check that the centre accepts your payment scheme, has isolation machines if you need them, and that a nephrologist reviews patients regularly. Visit before you decide.
